Didn’t get to try the food, arrived around 9pm… door says they close at 11pm on Friday nights, before we could walk in someone came to door and stated the kitchen is closed for the night (they didn’t even ask us if we were eating) although there were people at the bar. It just felt as if we were kinda pushed out… a little rude.

Had the Shrimp last night for dinner and it was cooked well. Tonight I just wanted a hamburger and it was by far outstanding!! Service was great and very personal. Didn’t wait very long for my food both nights. I’d definitely come back when in town.

Met the owner at our hotel for the night and decided to try this restaurant. So glad we did. Excellent food. Highway burger was delicious. Recommend the Grouper Bites. The Tarter Sauce was homemade. Service was a little slow but they did have a lot people come in at the same time. Waitress check on us several times and was very nice. Dessert was delicious. Love the cheesecake.

Simply Outstanding Burger! On way back to south Florida from New Jersey stopped by and well worth the slight travel delay! Best burger period! Very hospitable owner and serve staff! Fair pricing and superior quality food! Almost forgot, the fries were perfect!! Best Fully Loaded Cheeseburger and crispy fries anywhere! Now can’t go by without a stop at tge MAIN STREET GRILLE! Look it up! We did and were thoroughly impressed!

I’ve dined at some of the best steakhouses in the country—St. Elmo’s in Indy, Ruth’s Chris in Nashville, Prime on the 9 in Dodge City—but tonight, Main Street Grille in Walterboro gave them a run for their money.
I ordered the ribeye and it was, hands down, one of the top 3 steaks I’ve ever had in my life. The fat cap melted the moment it hit my tongue. The cut was perfect—tender, juicy, and grilled to absolute perfection. You can taste the quality in every bite.
Derek and his staff went above and beyond. The service was warm, attentive, and genuine—like visiting family, if your family happens to serve up a world-class steak.
This place is a hidden gem in South Carolina. If you’re anywhere near Walterboro, do not miss Main Street Grille. 10/10 recommend!

I went to Main Street Bar and Grill last night. The staff was amazing. Derrick was checking on us and the other patrons. Our server, Cicila, was incredible. Sorry if I spelled your name wrong Cicila. My boyfriend and I had steak dinner and OMG it was the best steak I've had in a long time and I dare say it was the best in the state. it was well worth the 45 minute drive one way. Thank y'all for a wonderful dinning experience.
