This was less like sitting at a diner and more like sitting at your mother's dining table. Made us fresh pancakes and constantly offered to cook fresh food despite a full buffet. (Only thing missing was taters. I missed my hash browns but I'm also certain if I had asked she would have made some for us)
All in all fantastic experience.

Has a country-style feel with plenty of hearty Southern options. The rice with brown gravy and the mac and cheese were both really good and stood out from the meal. The rest of the food was decent — nothing over the top, but filling and cooked the way you’d expect at a country spot. Service was friendly, though it can be a little slow when it’s busy. The atmosphere is laid-back and simple, making it a comfortable place for a casual meal. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re in the mood for classic Southern comfort food.

Horrible I will never eat here again me and my husband were working in the area looked online seen it looked like a simple little spot to grab a bite to eat we got the buffet and it was just me and my husband we had sweet tea to drink and the lady totaled it up to 84 dollers insane no prices were on any menus and I could a ate longhorn steak house for that price but that was horrible food for an insane price for some old food that wasn't even fresh
We went there on a Thursday night for dinner
Apparently it was seafood night
Everything on their little buffet was cooked in the same oil, so everything tasted like fish and frog legs
They had fried chicken, some kind of weird Mac and cheese, way over cooked shrimp, fried green tomatoes (also tasted like fish) hard hush puppies, frog legs, some frozen fish fillets, deep fried oysters (I assume tasted like everything thing els on the bar) a supposedly all you can eat crab legs
We did not have the crab legs
Now this place has there little buffet set up every day and we had eaten there before
Normal price with tip around 30 bucks, but tonight it was 61 dollars for at best mediocre food
Very disappointed, and we may not go back

I knew I should have left the moment I walked in. Smelled awful. Buffet is small. I wouldn't even call it a salad bar. Wilted lettuce, different color cheese due to not being properly chilled. Small cups of few toppings. Food Lion and other brand dressings just sitting out. Had to ask for ranch because they had coleslaw ranch out. The seafood buffet was tiny and not fresh. So steamy you could barely see what was in there and tongs were too hot to touch. Nothing was crisp. All tasted very low quality and so disgusting. Just made me sick to my stomach. Tasted like they haven't changed the oil since they have opened. Water with no ice as it immediately melted. Even the water tasted fishy. Daughter said her tea tasted the same way. Hot bottles of nearly empty tartar sauce just set on the table. I'd be curious to know if they have any DHEC violations, if DHEC has even checked them. Daughter said the crab legs were best part but even they were just ok. She couldn't stomach extra. Asked for more melted butter and tea. Received the butter but not the tea so had to ask again. At checkout, I was asked how everything was and I said eh, it was just ok and explained how everything tasted like it was fried in old oil and was all just off putting. Nothing was said. I wish I hadn't even tipped. A waste of $61 for me and my child.
Everything from the food, service and the owners is absolutely Amazing. I love most every item, however, my favorites are the meatloaf, li.a beans and the Spaghetti. Country Cook-in is out of this world. I would recommend them any day of the week.
Don't miss out!!!
