Big D's House of BBQ

Are at this restaurant Sunday after church , it was delicious home cooking . I highly recommend Big D’s House of BBQ for a great dining experience.

First time at the food truck today...DELICIOUS and we will be back!!!

Truthfully this place was delicious. I felt the value of the meal we received was lower than the price charged for the meal. We went on Sunday, which meant all menu items weren’t available. We purchased a 2 piece meat with 2 sides for $18.50 per plate. We wanted dark meat so I expected one thigh and one drum leg. When I opened the box there were two smaller sized drum legs and pretty normal portions of sides. I know the economy has caused inflation and price gouging but $20 for this amount of food disappointed me a lot. The food was very good taste wise but for the size we could’ve easily bought more for less. Otherwise a solid choice for a meal in West Union.

I stopped in to get take from Big D's BBQ a couple of weeks ago and did not have the best experience.
I'm rating them well overall because the food was good.
When I walked in, there were 3 tables with guess. I ordered and took a seat near the door. I ordered 2 plates with nothing special. A few other folks trickled in and sat at tables.
It was obvious pretty quickly that nothing was coming out of the kitchen in a hurry.
After 40 minutes of waiting for my food I told the staff I needed my food or my money back. After another 6 or 7 minutes I got my food. I had to ask for my drinks after my food was handed to me, only for the staff to inform me they didn't have any lids.
To say I was agitated is an understatement.
As I said, the food was good, and I'll likely give them a try again in the future. I hope this isn't the norm.

From the moment I walked through the door, I felt the most welcoming presence. The food, staff, and service were absolutely amazing. I had the smoked brisket, mac and cheese, baked beans and sweet potato soufflé. I would highly recommend it all. We even got lucky and got to chat with Big D! I’ll definitely be back!

Talk about a 5 star experience. I felt very at home while dining in at Big D’s. I would not recommend anything but this place if you are in the Upstate of South Carolina. Lewis BBQ is good in Greenville but this small business is better for the price!

Really loved this place after a hard day hiking in the Foothills. Greeted with smiles as soon as you walk in. Food was perfection and it's hard to get a good BBQ! Will definitely stop again when I'm in the area.

Ribs were amazing. Sweet Baby Rays Sauce. Don’t play with me. The Mac and cheese was absolutely on point. Brisket and collard green egg rolls. Shut up right now. If Big D is single somebody better wife him up.
