This was our first time eating here and I was told it was very good, but we were not too impressed. We ordered a meat and 3 plus drinks, it was just over $26 for two people, not including a tip. The chicken had been refried so the meat was dry and tough with really Cold temp spots in it, from being in the fridge, while the outer crust was very hot. The fried squash was overcooked. However the collard greens, Mac n cheese, lime beans, rice and gravy was good.I'm a big fan of independently owned restaurants, so I am just being fair and honest, just like I am in all my reviews and honestly I think it's a little family owned business that's trying to have a good business that the locals like going to. Maybe I'll try them out again in the future...who knows?

I stopped by their today was charged $18.25 for 6 regular hotdogs. This is ridiculous for 6 hotdogs. I will not buy any more hotdogs @ this Cafe.
