My kind of place. Good food. Good service. Down to earth. They actually seasoned the fried shrimp. Yum! The sweet tea was perfect! It felt like when you eat at a Southern family reunion, comfortable. And you know the food will be great no matter what you choose.

Today was my son and I first time trying this establishment. We both order the double cheeseburger basket. When I tell you it was delicious. Hats off to the cook the burger was seasoned just right. The staff was courteous. The atmosphere was welcoming. We definitely will eating there again.

If you’re someone traveling through this part of South Carolina, and want some good hot home cooking, I advise you to stop here. They have wings, breakfast and good homemade drinks to wash it down with. I’m a semi truck driver from Fort Lauderdale Florida. And when I tell you the food here is top tier they deserve to be in a bigger restaurant. The people are welcoming and very hospitable. I will be stopping here every single time I pass through to get this good food!!! #SOUTHERNHOMECOOKING 🤏🏾🤏🏾 oh and yes for the semi truck drivers it’s an easy in and easy out for your 18 wheelers .

There is a lot of fried food in the south, and we had plenty, but this tastes and felt authentic. Enjoyed the selection of drinks, sauces for the wings. My only regret is missing rib day which I believe was Saturday!

My friends and were passing through and happened upon this lovely place. We were greeted by friendly and kind staff. Everyone was nice. And let’s talk about the bang for your buck! If you go hungry here, you are trying to starve. There was so much food, I needed a nap half an hour after this meal. I ended up getting the smothered pork chop and it was divine. It came over a plentiful bed of rice and the sauce and the chop was delicious. And a generous serving of green beans and Mac and cheese , topped off with a perfect cornbread slice. It doesn’t get much better than that meal. You can taste the love and care that goes into the making of this food. I wish I lived closer because I would be a repeat customer! If you are ever passing through or have never been, I would highly recommend it, your belly will thank you !

Food was on point. First time in Elkon SC and noticed this place in route to Blackville. Vibes on point, wings, ribs, Mac n cheese and the old school hash n rice won me over. Definitely visiting you again. Hopefully you bring a food truck to Savannah and Charleston. Thank you
