During Spring break of this year, my neighbor and friend invited me to lunch at the Barn Express. I have lived here for six years and have never gone to this restaurant before. We arrived at lunch time and the place was a little busy but not too bad. We got the buffet and both of us got chicken and vegetables plus a little dessert. I love southern food and was raised on it. This restaurant knows how to make it and they do a really good job of it!

A senior citizen group came in the restaurant today. While they were in line to pay they kept coming up to Gene and I asking what was good? We said everything home away from home, and you are treated like you are their family. The chicken was so good they had to wait for more to be cooked they ate it all up. The tea was so good they had to get the to go cups. The group at our table was from my hometown. The group behind us was from the church I play the piano on Sunday....
