Update: stopped in for dinner on Sunday. The food was flavorful and fresh. We ordered beef n chicken soft tacos, flauntas, and pollo asado. House Chardonnay was a very nice pour and they serve Tercante.
Stopped in today for a Margarita. The place is lovely and clean. Margs - lime, mango Faboo. Not overly sweet. Chips n salsa were fresh n flavorful. We didn’t eat a meal but the dishes we saw looked yummy. Reasonable priced. They have a bar with TVs … if that’s your thing. Return? Definitely

No better Mexican in the area, my shrimp were perfectly cooked, my wife's burrito was smothered and delicious. The salsa was fresh and had a nice kick. More tex Mex than authentic, but definitely tasty.

This was our first time there and we ordered takeout. I loved the inside of the restaurant. It’s very clean and well decorated. The food was good as well, especially the fajitas. The restaurant is a little in gem in Winnsboro. We will definitely go back.

Excellent food! Who doesn't look at the local Mexican restaurant and wonder if it's worth it? This one is. Great food and service, and while I like heat to my spice and others may not, they also focused on the food's flavor. There are definitely options for every level of heat.
Thank you for reading!

The food is always hot and fresh! Everything I've tried has been excellent. Classic mexican food, done REALLY WELL!!! This time, we had the Carne Asada and the Special Dinner (both have so much food! Photo of the second plate that comes with the Special Dinner it had a taco, chili poblano, and guacamole salad)

I heard about this place several times so I had to go check it out for myself. And let me tell you OMG so delicious. The salsa that came with the chips were amazing. Had a little spice to them.

The restaurant is a cute little place and looks very clean. The guy at the counter is very friendly and nice and I enjoyed talking with him.
I ordered a chimichanga and was surprised at what I got. I've never had one like this before in my life. Their version of a chimichanga is two small, soft flour tortillas with shredded beef inside, covered with what I'm guessing is sour cream, lettuce, a slice of tomato on top and creamy re-fried beans.
I've had chimichangas in real Mexican restaurants in the past and they were nothing like what I just described. An authentic Mexican chimichanga (that I've had) was made with a large flour tortilla filled with seasoned shredded beef, cheddar cheese, refried beans on the inside not the outside but this might be a preference. The tortilla is folded then deep fried. A white cheese is poured on top of the chimichanga, a bed of lettuce is laid on top with chopped tomatoes (not a slice) and served with sour cream and guacamole on the plate or on the side along with rice.
I've even made my own and they're not hard to make, just takes time.
The chimichanga is basically a deep fried burrito. Maybe the restaurant DOES fry these and maybe I should have asked.
I will say that the rice and creamy beans were very good. I do recommend this restaurant simply for the atmosphere and friendly staff. They have a lot of items to choose from on the menu.

Update:
Last time we were there (Cinco de Mayo) was ok but not as great as previously. I'll still go, but might be tempted to eat at San Jose in Blythewood. I'm hoping it was just a bad day.
Original review:
We love Mexican food and wanted to try this new spot in town. We were a little hesitant because we have a favorite Mexican spot in Blythewood. We are so glad we tried Winnsboro Fiesta.
First we noticed the bright, cleanliness. This place has a nice atmosphere.
Then we got our meal. The flavor of the food is so good. At our table we had shrimp fajitas for 2, taco salad, and chicken chimichangas. We ALL loved the food. From the chips and salsa all the way to the refried beans, we were all impressed.
Please visit this great spot and help Winnsboro grow!!

Everything was fantastic to my surprise. It's hard to find authentic food and great service in Winnsboro. Food was fresh and hot. Service was friendly and prompt. Establishment was clean. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to not having a ceiling fan for air circulation purposes. Great job, we will be back
