Carolina Fine Food in Woodruff SC is delicious! My favorite dish is their hamburger steak with extra gravy and extra onions! They have the best Mac n cheese, and I always get their rice! They have amazing hamburgers and fries too! I highly recommend them!

For an older established restaraunt I was pleasantly surprised how clean and well maintained the dining room was. My wife and I were late walk ins and they still accomidated us as if it was mid day. The young gentleman at the counter,possibly the owner or manager, was very polite and friendly and patient while we looked over the menu. He apparently had a vested intrest in providing exceptional customer service and it shows. My wife and I both ordered the typical meat and three old fashioned southern style dinner. I was utterly shocked when I tasted the food!! Wow! Just like grandmas home cooking Sunday dinner. I was truly impressed. I asked my wife to taste my lima beans because she generally won't eat them and when she did I almost didn't get them back. She shared her black eyed peas with me, which I usually can't stomache but they were so good I couldn't believe I was eating them. It was a startk reminder how my parents raised me to revisit foods I thought I didn't like but to try them again when prepared by a different cook in a different way. The mac-n-cheese was as good or better than Mama's just don't tell her I said so. Grilled chicken spot on and juicy, it was not dry and salty at all. The collard greens down right amazing. I will definitely be back. If this place is consistant it might be one of my new favorite local buget friendly regular choice establishments. If I don't update and change my review then the 5 stars still stands. I just don't know why I always just drove past looking for other options and overlooked this place for so long. I won't make that mistake again. Never judge a book by it's cover. Theres no fancy signs , neon lights or a playground here, but if great a great fresh hot meal is what you are truly after I am sure you can find something here.
