Came here with my mother for the first time tonight , food was delicious and fresh . Great service and friendly staff A+ will be back soon!
I attended brunch today at Conner Flynn’s, and the food was amazing and very reasonably priced. I had sourdough pancakes and sausage. Plus the mimosa really hit the spot. There was a kids’ event going on, so there was a good crowd, but our meals were still delivered in good time. The staff is very friendly and professional.
Went for the Mother’s Day brunch. Food was amazing and service was excellent!
Excellent food service and value. Best Irish food we have had in a long time, make sure to visit this gem off the beaten path
Great place and people with a sense of humor. Plus good food is a plus
Great Irish pub downtown. I’d recommend it to anyone any day of the week! Looking forward to coming back
Just had brunch at Conor Flynn’s Irish Pub and I am still thinking about the food — it was insanely good. The shrimp and grits were absolutely mouth-watering — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. And don’t even get me started on the vanilla-stuffed French toast — pure heaven on a plate. The home fries? Wildly addictive.
Chef Robbie is absolutely killing it in the kitchen — every bite was a testament to his talent. Add in the pub’s charming, welcoming atmosphere, and it’s safe to say this place is a new favorite.
Can’t wait to go back and explore more of the menu — if brunch is this good, I can only imagine what dinner must be like. If you haven’t been yet, go now — your taste buds will thank you!
We started with the Fried Pickles and the Shrimp. Both were gracious portions and delicious. We then had one Patty Melt (quality meat and also delicious) and a Guiness Stew. Outstanding stew and a big portion. Well fed for a decent menu price. Our server, Frank, was very, very attentive and we felt welcomed there, like part of the Clan back in Ireland...just the way a pub should feel.
This place is fantastic. The food, the service and atmosphere are some of the best around. My new favorite place! Go visit, you will not be disappointed!
Absolutely amazing little spot! We had the shrimp & grits on the brunch menu. The kids had the pancakes with homefries and bacon or the egg, cheese and sausage sandwich with homefries. Everything that was on the table was fantastic! The food not only tasted great it looked great! The bacon was hearty and the pancakes were sweet and fluffy. It's hard to find good quality food but they nailed it! Everyone left with full bellies and a smile. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well. This was a big win for us, and we can't wait to go back!

Excellent find in Connor Flynn’s Public House. Everything I expect in an Irish American Public House. The starters are phenominal. I started with the smoked fish dip and I was apprehensive at first. It was outstanding , glad I went out on a limb. I’d definitely order it again. For the entree I had to have the Bangers & Mash. Outstanding to say the least. Made me feel like home. The Irish whiskey collection is diverse. Many places do not have this selection. SmithWick Red Ale is always a treat . And of course a proper pint of Guinness from the keg. The staff is service minded and friendly. It felt like a Public House…one I’ll return to. Well done Connor Flynn’s Public House.
Cross posting here 😁 I know Conner Flynn’s Public House has gotten a lot of negative reviews in the past. Myself included. Last night I convinced the hubby to give it another try because it is so close to home. We had a great experience! There was a live music duo who were great. We ordered Lemon Pepper Wings, Spinach Dip and Jazzy Chicken Sandwich. Everything was really tasty and well plated. Thats big for me. “We eat with our eyes first” I was told in culinary school. I especially liked the spinach dip with the warm toasted pita. We spoke with the two gentlemen behind the bar. They’re newly managing it and have made a lot of changes and are going to continue the changes. Super nice guys that made some delicious cocktails! Johhny made me the filthiest dirty martini! So so good. If you have put them down in the past….Go give them another try because last night was really great and it’s nice to have another local spot to put in to our rotation.
Boom! What a great local joint! Amazing atmosphere and service, great menu. Had the shrimp po boy and it was spot-on. Found another local hometown gem!

Ate here for after noon lunch on a Sunday. Let me say first off, I would definitely eat here again if I'm in Woodruff. Lots of natural wood, high ceilings, and the one staff member I interacted with was very friendly. I got a reuben, and it was delicious, ingredients were balanced. My Coke was flat, but the drink was replaced once that was known.
The only issue I had was that the springs in the bench of my booth were shot. It wasn't irritating enough, for me, to move, just amusing. As you enter the dining room, first booth on the left, far side.
Parking: Some street parking, but more behind the opposite side of the street, and you shouldn't have to walk more than 2 pleasant blocks, tops.
