Absolutely disgusting. Every surface is sticky. They must have paid off DHEC to get that “A” rating, because the whole place should be burned to the ground.

Incredible food & great service. We stopped in for the Sunday buffet. Everything we tried was delicious but our favorites were the fried okra, fried chicken, & banana pudding. The owners / employees were very nice & personable. This is obviously a local favorite & is definitely worth the stop if you’re passing through town. We will be back!

Fried chicken and Mac and cheese was decent…BUTTTT This restaurant needs a OVERHAUL on cleaning it was FILTHY. floors were greasy and after my meal a little friend (roach) climbed on my table and that killed my whole mood about my meal. Then as I was leaving I realized the low sanitation score covered EVERYTHING that I experienced ?‍♂️. I recommend for them to shut EVERYTHING down for a week and address these problems please Deep clean

This is my homeboys spot in Woodruff. Great buffet. Had fried chicken and pork chops, Mac & cheese with collard greens. Doesn't get better then that! Wife and I payed $25 for the buffet

Meh, breakfast was "ok"... Not a lot of varieties aside from the breakfast meats ....all they served was grits and different types of breakfast meats to choose from....with biscuits and gravy and fruit salad....idk if that's the way it is all the time cuz that was my first time going to there....I would probably call first then next time to see wat they're serving that morning..

Dirtiest restaurant I have ever eaten in. Wishing I had just turned around and walked out when I walked In the door. The lights were so dim that you could barely tell what food was what on the buffet.I just nibbled on some of the veggies. Every single surface in the place was filthy. You couldn’t hardly see out the windows they were so dirty. Still feel nauseous 3 days later thinking about it.

It's very rare for me to go all out & give any place 5 Stars but friend, let me tell you, Mustard Seed deserves & has earned such from me.
1st, you will NEVER find a breakfast buffet in Spartanburg that is as inexpensive as Mustard Seed. Breakfast buffet was only available on Saturdays the last time I was there in 2023.
2nd, the owners are there working & greeting & thanking their customers (most who are regulars).

So, it's not a huge buffet but it IS quality over quantity. For lunch, call ahead to see if pork chops are on the bar that day. They are AMAZING.
I'm living in FL now but when I return to SC to visit family & friends, I'll be returning to Mustard Seed MOST DEFINITELY.

Good soul food. Chicken was outstanding as well as okra and macaroni. Plenty of desserts to choose from.
