Service is extremely slow and this is a big downfall for a truck stop restaurant. Drink machine is down so you have to go into the store area for drinks. Also if you are going to train a new employee a manager should be nearby to make sure the correct items are being rung in so customers receive what they are trying to order. And $$$$
Slow service and cashiers. Everyone is definitely working off the notion that they get paid the same whether they work fast or slow. And slow seems to be the way to go. I watched several people walk out rather than wait to order.
During our dining experience, the coke zero was out. When asking to replace the syrup, they noted they would change it and promptly did not do so. My wife also went up and they did not replace it then either. Multiple drink options were out after experimentation, coke products and the water based as well. It appeared the only one left was Barks. The staff did not seem to care. The cleanliness was mediocre.
