We are new to this area. We’ve had trouble finding really good food. (Lots of normal fried foods and burger places.) We just found this place. It’s top notch! Great menu, healthier choices, deliciously prepared, great service and a lovely quaint atmosphere. We had the filet steak tips and the Jamaican jerk chicken pizza. We finished by splitting the buttermilk pie because everyone talked about it. It was decent but I suggest they do a coconut version as an option. That would be amazing!
Our waitress was Jane and she’s a real sweetheart!

Turned away by host and manager when we got there 1 hour and 15 minutes before posted closing. I used to recommend this place but they just dont care about customer service at all. We told them we drove 45 minutes from our house to show our out of town friends the place. This is unacceptable on so many levels. If you are going to close before your posted Open hours, then those are not your Open hours! Say you close at 745pm not 9pm. I am in the industry and we take people in for the full experience during our Open hours and not a second before. What happened to doing the right thing? Its sad what this place has become and we will never return.

Our 1st time there. Great place. You need reservations. Will definitely be going back.
Ordered the bacon cheese burger with the fried green beans. Asked for medium, got well done - guessing it was pre cooked and sitting in a warming drawer. Not bad but dry. The green beans were good but like warm.
There was some drama with the staff going on. Maybe it was just a bad day between the servers and kitchen, it it also took over an hour for our food to show up.
Menu looks amazing so I’ll try again next time I’m in York, but today was a big let down.
Wonderful ambience. Enjoyed my salad tremendously. Cannot wait to share this new find with my friends.

What an absolutely beautiful place! The restaurant is cute inside, but the outdoor space steals the show. We tried quite a lot of food and everything was delicious. Great service, friendly atmosphere, and a really neat little store in the front. We already have plans to come back.
