They are a bakery, but they surprisingly have some of the best BBQ. Their BBQ plate is enough for two meals. The BBQ has so much flavor you don't need sauce. The fried ochra, hush puppies, and corn bread are excellent.
The woman in the front was so rude when I went to order my food . She put her finger in my face while I was talking to ask what side my mom wanted… when all she had to say was I’m sorry what side would you like? and when I asked for no bacon bits she proceeded to correct me and say “they’re not bacon bits it’s fresh bacon but anyways” …she said this very snarky and was overall rude in general. I found this quaint little spot by Googling places to eat in York SC, and it didn't disappoint. The BEST thing about here is the quaintness. This place holds up to it's almost perfect reviews. Tara is amazing! She was my first point of contact. She has such a friendly demeanor and a smile that makes you feel welcomed.
