Donuts and Cider are great! The Gold is the best flavored hard cider they have. I love the small town feel of the small orchard.

I am very disappointed with the experience my child’s home daycare had when trying to plan a trip here. The provider purchased adult tickets for herself and another parent to bring a small group of 5 toddlers, all under age 2, as the website clearly stated that children under 2 were free. When she later called to ask about adding another parent, she was told that her business was not welcome to bring that many young children unless she paid for each one, despite what was advertised. The explanation given was that the orchard was “for families only,” and her tickets were canceled and refunded. This was extremely disheartening because the children were looking forward to their first orchard visit, and it feels unfair to exclude a small home daycare simply because she cares for several children at once. Families come in all forms, and these children deserve the same joyful experience.

We purchased tickets for apple picking two adults and five toddlers. Their own website clearly states that everyone in your group who is two years old and above must have a ticket. We followed this rule exactly. The morning of our reservation, we received notice that it was canceled because we had “too many toddlers under the age of two.” Their staff claimed that allowing a group of little ones was not a “viable business model.” Imagine buying tickets in good faith, planning a special outing, and then being turned away last minute for bringing toddlers the very age group an orchard should welcome! We tried to explain that this was just a simple daycare field trip, meant to give the children an experience of apple picking. These were babies and toddlers not adults sneaking in for free. Instead of showing any understanding or compassion, they doubled down and refused to let us participate. This place clearly does not value families, children, or basic decency. Canceling on the morning of, after taking our money and following their posted rules, is beyond unprofessional. If you’re looking for a family-friendly orchard, look elsewhere.

Three employees manning a single counter and they expect you to grab your order of donuts by yourself while the other two just stand there .Then they accuse you of taking an extra box without even checking the bill.Cant even be bothered to check the order before accusing the customer.

This is my second time visiting Windy Hill Orchard & Cider and this time during their Fall Festival. I decided to grab a flight of their special selection of ciders. Ginger Gold and the Bourbon based cider were my favorite. Oh and let's not forget the doughnuts! Upon departure, we purchased a half dozen doughnuts and a few bottles of cider.

We were able to go apple picking which I would definitely recommend. Be sure you book your tickets in advance if you are going apple picking as slots fill-up fast.

Haven’t been there yet but I had the apple pie which was so delicious.

Windy Hill Orchard and Cider Mill is a good spot for a fall afternoon. The food here is fantastic, with the donuts being a standout treat – fresh, hot, and just absolutely delicious. The food truck also offers a variety of tasty options that are sure to satisfy any craving. They were out of a lot when we got here.
However, be prepared for a very long line at the bar. It can get quite busy, especially on weekends, so patience is key if you’re looking to enjoy their hard cider. Despite the wait, the atmosphere is wonderful, with a loud yet enjoyable vibe that makes the experience worth it.
The shop is well-stocked with a variety of items, perfect for picking up some unique gifts or treats to take home. Parking is decent, though it can fill up quickly during peak times.
Overall, Windy Hill Orchard & Cider Mill offers a great atmosphere, delicious food, and a great shop, making it a worthwhile visit despite the busy bar.

Cool little spot. We come at least once a year during the fall to hang out with a cider flight and some donuts. They have live music often and the staff have always been friendly when we come through. Parking can be a little tight when it’s busy but definitely worth a visit.

This place is nothing more than a roadside vender. While there are apple trees on the property, there isn't much. I wasn't surprised at the lack of apples considering my partner and I visited in late October, but I thought there would be more activities or at least something for entertainment. My partner and I weren't greeted at all and when trying to ask a question we were actually ignored by staff completely. Don't waste your gas on this place. Just go to the grocery store for your apples.
