Service was good, but the food is overpriced and a bit blah. My coworkers ordered steaks that were cold and my burger was mediocre at best. I ordered a plain cheeseburger with fries and cheese curds. Got no fries and a handful of curds. The total price was over $20. Wait staff were great even though the place was packed.

Went there a couple of days ago. They had a big Christmas party there. We had to wait for a table, no more than 30 minutes. The server was over immediately to take our drink orders. We placed our food order thinking it would take forever. Nope, 15 minutes. The food was amazing! You knocked it out of the park, 1481!

We tried 1481 since we wanted to have a bite before the football game. Very warm hospitality greeting and enjoyed the hostess giving the evening specials. That young lady was phenomenal.Waitress must have been fairly new as she didn't know much on drink menu. My wife had the chicken chorizo, which she enjoyed. I tried the prime rib which to me was under flavored. We both thought service was slow and a bit over priced for a small town. (Especially appetizers)Hospitality was great coming and going but overall the food was just ok.

This restaurant was within easy walking distance from the Arlington Hotel, where we were staying while visiting the Laura Ingalls Wilder pageant and histroic sites in De Smet, SD, and was recommended by the hotel staff, so we gave it a try. The owner/staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered small-plate sirloins, which was good, but the most memorable part of our meal was the roasted vegetables we chose as sides! They were so great! Root vegetables, etc. So good!

I have driven by this place many times. We went there last night for dinner. The food, service, and atmosphere was tremendous! I highly recommend this establishment. We will be back. My only disappointment is that we haven't been here before!

We got seated and never got served or asked what we wanted to drink. Another table came in after us and gotten their drinks. We got up and left… walked right by the owner and never said a word.
