I ordered The Cowgirl. The menu said the chicken salad was supposed to have grapes and nuts mixed in it and all it was chicken mixed with a little mayo. Really dry and flavorless. I’ve ordered it before and it was wonderful, what happened?

This little gem is a must stop! The only thing they were missing was Dorothy Lynch Salad Dressing, but I truly don't fault them! The salad was fresh, crisp and a lovely mix of greens, the chips were also perfectly portioned with the complimentary pickle. I ordered the Smokehouse half sandwich special, only making one change, but that was on me, spice and I are not friends! The sectioned off side rooms make the experience cozy and private while being in easy reach of complimentary water and back porch.

I get that it was the 4th of July and the staff had a long day, we ordered just before they were closing. We didn’t know that we were getting our food to go. We were sitting inside eating when a staff member told us that they were closed and we needed to take our food outside because they were closed. The staff member was rude about it had we been told as we were ordering our food it would have been different.

Should be in the running for best cafe in America! Cozy little spot, plenty of seating, and a diverse menu for a small cafe. Got the jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was so fresh, simply irresistible. Also had the medicine ball tea and that hit the spot. Great selection of gifts they sell as well. Our group of 6 was most impressed by the owner. He was kindly serving us, spent some time talking with us, and had the greatest demeanour that translates into a great team of staff that treated us well. If I'm ever in the area again, it won't even be a question of whether we stop in, it's guaranteed.
