This was originally built by my great grandfather and grandfather. Originally it was Dahn's Tavern. Many years later it was sold and became Charlie's. It's passed hands a few times since then but being as that my grandfather retired from Ellsworth, after overseeing the Minute Man Project, I think he and his father would get a real kick out of what it has become.

This is an air force themed bar that welcomes everyone. The owners who you will meet behind the bar are super friendly and genuinely easy to like. If you're looking for a dance club type bar, I would suggest heading into rapid city but if you're just looking to relax and chat in a fun and welcoming bar with a bunch of locals, this is your stop!
