It's more about comfort and a good value than atmosphere. Great people and comfortable, not fancy at all.. This is a place where, when you walk in, people look up from the pool table to see if they know you. (Kudos on the new restrooms!) Whimps is where I go when my iron is low. Who else has liver and onions on the menu? Liver and extra onions. And ketchup. This is also the first place I had walleye when we moved to the frozen North. This is still the best home style made...
We had a delightful lunch at Whimps Place! The food was very good, homestyle with generous servings. Prices were reasonable and the service was great! We'll be returning soon with friends!
The only place in USA where it is still legal to drink in your vehicle. Grandfathered in by ownership. Cold beer, view of the river, and bikers welcome!! Smash your glass place!!
