If you're looking for a quintessential small town diner, this is the place to go. No frills, but solid fairly-priced food. We enjoyed the chicken and wild rice soup, a hamburger and fries, and hot beef - which was deemed the best ever time!

Small diner in small town- that is EXACTLY what it is. Not pretentious. Not uppity. Just the basics done right by friendly staff. Got a grilled cheese with fries. Sprite came in can with a cup of ice to serve myself.

No credit cards accepted. We stopped for a late breakfast but they did not serve breakfast late. I had a pizza burger that was overcooked.

This is a Gem of a Restaurant. The real Rural, Country, Family feel. Great seating for a family. Obviously it's a favorite for the farmers in the area. Simple straightforward menu options at value prices. Quick service. The breakfast foods, including eggs, sausage, bacon, toast and french toast were all delicious. This will be a place we go back to over and over. Google obviously has the exact location wrong if you follow directions to get you there. It's the white building with "Laurie's Cafe" on the sign in front, just to the South and East of the bldg Google takes you to. Google has the address correct but directions are incorrect. If you are in Lincoln County near Canton it's worth the drive

Laurie's Cafe is a hidden gem if you're looking for an off the beaten path breakfast or lunch. The place is nothing fancy, which adds to its charm. The staff is friendly, the food is what you should expect in a small family owned Cafe. Portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and the food is always good.

My husband and I stopped for lunch today. We ordered hamburgers, fries and onion rings. The hamburgers were cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. Everything was top notch. Service was fantastic. Our waitress was very personable with a great sense of humor. We will definitely be back when we are in Canton, SD.
