I was in town because I needed to get my car registered and decided to stop at Lauries for lunch.

I had a burger and onion rings, and both were very tasty.

The service is fast and friendly.

I bet the breakfast here is awesome. I will have to come back one morning.

Lauries is definitely worth checking out if you haven't already

Update:
Our first visit was so good, we decided to come again. Was really hoping to see some type of pancake combo on the menu, but sadly there is not, so I ordered the 2 egg, meat, hashbrown and toast meal. Asked if I could substitute the toast for a pancake- was told yes by the waitress and that it would be a $.50 upcharge for the change. I said yes. When food arrived the same waitress told me that it was going to cost $3.50 for the pancake. I agreed (because what else was I going to do at that point?) Really enjoyed our food, but was thoroughly surprised that we were charged the price of the toast meal when we received no toast and was charged $3.50 for each person who changed their meal from toast to pancake. This made a drastic difference in the price for something we assumed would be an easy substitution. Maybe this establishment should consider putting a pancake combo on the menu for the customers who enjoy something to go along with their pancake.

Delicious food, good portions, friendly staff. Exactly what we were hoping for while passing through town. 100% recommend if you are looking for tasty homestyle food at a fair price.

If you're looking for a quintessential small town diner, this is the place to go. No frills, but solid fairly-priced food. We enjoyed the chicken and wild rice soup, a hamburger and fries, and hot beef - which was deemed the best ever time!

Small diner in small town- that is EXACTLY what it is. Not pretentious. Not uppity. Just the basics done right by friendly staff. Got a grilled cheese with fries. Sprite came in can with a cup of ice to serve myself.

No credit cards accepted. We stopped for a late breakfast but they did not serve breakfast late. I had a pizza burger that was overcooked.
