Best donuts in South Dakota hands-down I called the night before told him what I wanted when I got there. I thought I would be picking out donuts. He had them all gift wrapped for me and two separate boxes just like I wanted two dozen donuts plus of course I had to buy extra, I’ll be going back again

It's definitely a South dakota treasure. 7am, and they're already packed with people. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The donuts just hits different, its so good!! Better than any donut shops in sioux falls hands down.

Local SD treasure. I don't have words for the delicious Cream Delight donuts - they turn me into Homer Simpson. My wife and I used to live in the area and went here often. Now we are down in Omaha, but still make plans to stop here when we are up in SD. If this place was in Omaha I believe it would compete right along. *One extremely important caveat*. Like many other bakeries, you need to get here early for the best selection. If you roll in at 10am or later the selection will likely be limited due to the demand and early on they do have a nice variety to choose from, so better to get here early and start out your day. If you are traveling in I-80, Centerville is only about 15 minutes west - town is fortunate to have such a fantastic bakery ? Oh, and free coffee with your donut - pretty decent.

A friend and I stopped here when we were in the area because we had heard so much about the zebra donuts. We also tried several of their other donuts. Frankly, neither of us can understand all the hype this place gets. The zebra donut was very heavy and dense. The tiger tail, which is basically the zebra donut but in a twist, was better. The apple fritter was doughy and dense and didn’t have a whole lot of flavor. The basic glazed donuts were good. My favorite thing that I sampled was the raspberry roll, which is like a cinnamon roll, but filled with raspberry jam. A few seconds in the microwave and that was very good. So it really depends on what you order. But their signature zebra donuts were a big disappointment. I’m giving this place four stars because the service was so friendly. And they have free coffee.

Eh, they were nothing to write home about. Cold and hard. Wouldn't waste my time going again. The filled maple stick was the best out of the 5 donuts I got, but even it was meh. Maybe fill it with custard instead of cake frosting...ick. Not sure why the Zebra donuts are so loved. Tasted like a reg glazed donut. The lady behind counter was very kind and helpful however.

I grew up eating these donuts ? but they seem different ? the filling in the filled maple is different and super sweet ? and the zebra idk it's different. Still taste alright but different.
