Made reservations for New Year's Eve and we are so glad we did! The special menu for the holiday was perfect! The food was amazing! We had beef Wellington and chicken cordon blue. Both delicious entree's! Nice, clean atmosphere. Quiet. Good service 🙂 We hadn't eaten here in years but glad we did.

Pretty sad and uninspired food. You may not have a ton of choices in the area though.

Great meal & even better view in the heart of Spearfish Canyon. Staff was shorthanded, but did a great job of accommodating us with good service. Highly recommend, especially if the weather permits you to enjoy your meal on the patio. Great view!

I would recommend Lachstring Restaurant to anyone staying or passing through. Food is fabulous, staff is very friendly and accommodating and the views are beautiful.

1st time being at the Latchstring in many years but the food was just as good as I remembered and our waitresses **Kassie** had the best vibe and attitude. You definitely don't get that combo every you go these days! Thanks for the impeccable service and delicious food!🥰

The server Kass was great. The food was also really good. I had the country fried steak lunch. It was good but bland. If it had a little more seasoning, I would have given it a top score. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the scenery outside is superb.

Had the Country Fried steak today and was probably one of worst I have ever had. Was mushy and tasted bad. The mashed potato that came with it was a baked potato that had been mashed up with something like a fork. The potato was lumpy and cold and the gravy was thin as water and was barely enough to cover the meat, none on the cold lumpy potato. I asked them to warm the potato and add a little extra gravy. It came back with some extra gravy and a bill for $2.50 for the gravy. Won’t be back
