This is NOT a 💯 % recommendation for The Wooden Nickel. We first visited this establishment just over two years ago. We frequented it almost weekly for the better part of 1.5 years. It was good…the food is good & at the time the service was good. However lately…in 2024 it has been sub par. This year during Crooks days we stopped in…it took 15 minutes FOR ANYONE to walk up to our table and even hand us menus…and when she did she was on the phone talking to someone....
Gotta make this our Friday night dinner out place!! Coldest beer in town first of all ?!! I had the Chislic Special. It was all awesome and a ton of food. Meat very flavorful and super tender!! Wife had cheese burger and the fries were amazing as well. Price was very normal for our world today. Thanks for a great night out and keep up the good work! ?
