Had a mushroom/swiss burger and waffle fries, it was very good and very reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and very quick to help and make sure I had what I needed and everything was good. Would come back if I’m ever in the area again.

I search for small town taverns like Baltic Corner when I’m traveling. We stopped in while heading north on a pheasant hunting trip. The beer was cold and the food was very good. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very entertaining. They were joking and laughing with us like we were regulars, not like someone who was there for the first time. This place is worth a short detour off of I29 if you are in the area.

The BEST Cheese burger anywhere! The best people and service hands down! Anytime we have guests come to visit us we bring them here! Always the best!
This one was kind of tough for me because it was the other customers, not the staff. My wife and I stopped there for lunch on a weekday. The food was good. The waitress was nice. One annoying thing is if you want even pickles on your burger, you pay extra. It's extra if you pay with a card while we're at it. The only bad thing was some of the other customers. There were 2 tables of overweight middle-aged men. They must have had a belching contest. These were loud, deliberate, and you could hear it across the whole bar. I got a "Where-T-F did you bring me?!" look from my wife. Yeah, it's a dive bar, but this was the middle of the day, and manners apply no matter where you are. If you want to eat good food with classless pigs, this is the place for you, I guess.
