Ordered the special, brosted Pork Chop. (It was not a Pork Chop, it was Pork Loin) Dry, tough…overcooked. Explained it to the server, at the cash register, I was informed that nobody else thought this. Never did get asked if everything was okay, after we received lunch.
I had heard good things, I didn’t not enjoy. The place is noisy, difficult to talk among the table, with family.
Amazing food! We moved to SD last year and drive past this place on the way home once in a while. This is a must stop place, food is great every time!
We at there yesterday. It was terrible the steak was under cooked. Wasn’t even cooked on both sides. Mushrooms were so burnt at $2 had to scrape off. My steak was purple and potatoes were so hard we didn’t eat one bite of them. They recooked the one steak to the point of being a boot heal. Never once did we get the mushrooms and onions we just paid for for $3. Their board showed the ribeye was 30.95. We got charged 33.95 and 36.96. When I asked waitress to take off...read full review

This quirky, divey-looking restaurant at the crossroads of Yankton, Menno, and Freeman SD is a must-stop destination for anyone in the area. The food is tasty and well prepared with generous portions, and the service is spectacular. Guests highly recommend the big Norwegian burger, homemade chili, corn nuggets, and lamb chislic. The restaurant can also accommodate large groups and serves great coffee.
