My wife and I were driving north and the parking lot was full. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and hot for a fair price. I’d recommend this place for a good meal.

Got chicken wrap. Ordered the spicy jalapeño ... no spice must've messed up order. Then there was a ton of croutons in my wrap which threw me off with texture in the wrap. Really wanted to like this place :(

It's a nice cozy place. Extremely high steak price. $48 12oz steak. I highly doubt steak cost $4/oz. $90 for 3 people should be higher quality (main course only) than what we got IMHO. I doubt I will ever go back for that price. I do understand costs, but when you can go to Texas Road House for a 3 course meal for 3 people plus dessert at $90, that place is just a touch out of line.

Ordered the special, brosted Pork Chop. (It was not a Pork Chop, it was Pork Loin) Dry, tough…overcooked. Explained it to the server, at the cash register, I was informed that nobody else thought this. Never did get asked if everything was okay, after we received lunch.
I had heard good things, I didn’t not enjoy. The place is noisy, difficult to talk among the table, with family.

this place situated at the crossroads of Yankton, Menno, and Freeman SD is a true gem. you wouldn't expect to find a place like this just out in the middle of nowhere. but there they are. everything is impressive. the food is tasty and well prepared with generous portions. the beer list is good. the service is spectacular! highly recommend the big Norwegian burger, the homemade chili and the corn nuggets. 9.5/10 just excellent.

We stopped in 5/21/25 after a funeral and there were over 25 of us. Was a spontaneous stop by the entire family late afternoon around 4:00. April was only server I seen and would guess a cook in the back and she (they) knocked it out of the park!! Food was great like always and can't beat the chislic! Hope to be back soon!!

Fantastic experience here! The Cole's 3am with waffle fries and coffee was amazing! The server, Ashli I believe, did a great job and was incredibly helpful.

The food is great. But the service here is terrible. We were there for 2 hours before we got our food, and when we asked if our food was coming they told us yes and then came back with other peoples food 30 minutes later and didn't bring our food. We have been here many times before and had the same issues.

I'm a sucker for a good dive bar, and this place fits the bill. The food is other worldly...do not pass up the chislic! If you don't know, it's the official gnosh of South Dakota, and rumor has it that this is where it all started...allegedly. You're in SD, the service in a rural community is going to be A+ and Meridian Corner does not disappoint! Thanks for a great afternoon snack!
