Wow! I have lived in Gayville for a little over a year, and I don’t know how I have never been down to The Hay Shed! I was blown away by how goood my Tristan’s Special and Cheeseballs were!
omg I just had THE BEST onion rings I have ever eaten in my entire life and I've had many... was going to get an order to take with me for later and I'm not kidding! the owner was amazing... very funny and friendly.... will be going back no questions asked!

I had a group of customers heading to central SD for a pheasant hunt and we decided to change our itinerary since we were ahead of schedule. We ended up hungry and found the Hay Shed in Gayville, SD. Paula (owner, chef and barmaid) was awesome. If you want good food and cold beer and you happen to be within 30 miles, find it. Paula’s enthusiasm for her business and town is off the chart’s great.
