I sat in the bar near the outdoor patio area. NFL playoffs were happening. It was a loud crowd of locals. The service was good. The food was okay. The beer was cold, but so was the temp outside. I ordered the Sunday BBQ special. The Pulled pork was heavily prepared (not my fav). The Ribs were the best part of the meal. The Brisket was a little dry. Called ahead to see if they could accommodate a very large party. Although they said yes, it wasn't the case. There was about 50 of us and one waitress. There was no organization. Someone said that they only had one cook but that could have been managed had we at least had drinks and an organized, friendly, fully dressed waitress. I used to love this place and I first came there over 20 years ago and it was one of my main hangouts back in the day. The food used to be great and the prices were very reasonable. But now they are very overpriced and the food is very mediocre. I was there last Wednesday and my girlfriend and I ordered the boneless fish appetizer and it costed $13 and we only got seven very small pieces of fish about the size of chicken McNuggets for that price.
