Keep in mind they do not offer food!!!
Tables were really bad... a old local drunk was having a very bad day n kinda ruined the mood for us. Small town cliches should be more open to us business men coming into town to spend money. Drinks were well priced tho!

I was in town for work. Walked in all, the regulars started. Making jokes made me feel like I was in my own Hometown. Great place, Mike was awesome.

Years ago we were in Gettysburg on a pheasant hunt. Thanksgiving night we tried to find something to eat and the only place with any signs of life was this bar. We walked in and they let us know that they were closed for a family dinner they were having there. As we turned to leave one of people yelled to us to come back because, "far enough back we are all family". We stayed and ate with them and had the best thanksgiving I can remember. Such kind and hospitable people. We even ended up hunting with a few of them in the following few days. I doubt the owners even remember or will ever see this, but we still talk about them and their kindness to this day.
Very nice venue for two meetings simultaneously and a nice lunch after. Thank you.

A really nice couple own & run this local bar. Kristine & Carl. They will chat you up, pour generous drinks and find out why you’re passing through town. The other patrons were friendly and courteous. Lots of games playing on the many TV’s.We didn’t eat there, so can’t review that aspect - but the bar side of the building was a lot of fun.Plenty of parking nearby.
We ate lunch at the ugly mug and the sandwiches were delicious. I had the southwest chicken wrap and my daughter had the same sandwich on a ciabatta roll. It was a little spicy but very flavorful. The slaw on the side was also delicious. My husband got the grilled chicken sandwich on a roll, and it was no ordinary sandwich. The toppings made it unique. We will definitely eat here again on our future trips to Gettysburg.
We came in for lunch. Nice that it is away from the congested part of Gettysburg. Parking was easy. We had the Avocado Gyro and it was an excellent lunch. That Wasabi Cucumber sauce should be bottled, but then it wouldn't be so good! Coffee was good/smooth and service was super. The restaurant was clean, with great music and laid back atmosphere.
Coffee not very good. Bitter. Several seats not comfortable. We were glad to find an open inside dining though during Covid. Not friendly.
Great great place ! Wonderful atmosphere, good food. Local spot. They love the students of Gettysburg College!
