I was passing through this morning and decided that I wanted some donuts. I stopped in and the pastries looked ok, I got myself a bear claw, and apple fritter and an apple turnover. The bear claw was a flop. Super dense and overly sweet.
The apple fritter however was absolutely amazing. Quite possibly the best one I have ever had. It had a really good mixture of sweet and the cinnamon, lots of apples, I was sad when I ate the last bite.
The apple turnover was pretty good as well, the only complaint was that the glaze on top made it a bit too sweet for me.

Great local cafe to stop in when I'm in town visiting family, well worth the drive from Burke, with lovely staff and wonderful baked goods!
