Zero Star 0 - STAY AWAY Horrible quality horrible customer service horrible people April 2024 cabinets delivered to my new construction home only to be either horrible quality or damages. It's January 28,2025 Curtis Woodworking or Showcase Cabinetry have done nothing to fix this problem. I'm out of $42,000 a lot of money for trashy cabinets and I can't move into my new construction cause I have no kitchen installed. Both Showcase and Curtis Woodworking in Prospect Connecticut have done nothing to fix the problem. No replacement no refund NOTHING. BOTH parties pocketed my money and are doing absolutely nothing to put me the customer first. 9 months and nothing how disgusting are Showcase Cabinetry and Curtis Woodworking (dealer) in Prospect Connecticut. They stole my money and didn't provide me the cabinets I purchased can you call them both disgusting and inhumane. I will be suing them and closing their business as they are costing me more money not moving in. Talk about thieves and ppl who look at their pockets instead of doing their job. Karma STAY AWAY FROM SHOWCASE CABINETRY and Curtis Woodworking in Connecticut. Most disgusting ppl ever met. Karma follows them forever stealing my hard earned money. Dale is a slimball stay away from Curtis Woodworking Showcase Cabinetry owner is slimball funny when the Showcase rep came to see the crappy cabinets he bragged about Showcase making millions, yeah millions in stealing ppl hard worked money. Stay away

A friend of mine purchased cabinets from here and I was in shock when I saw the low quality of the product she received. It seems like she’s not the first or the last person to deal with quality control issues.

Cheap, poorly made, several warped

Just had showplace cabinets installed and I’ll save you the suspense - they’re cheap junk. Oodles of bumpers missing, wrong color and size sent and delivered for one cabinet and fridge panel - reorder produced wrong color door and panel for the 2nd time, reordering takes forever, pullouts are jerky, some doors do not shut softly but instead “stall out” when the automatic closing mechanism takes hold, and many cabinet doors damaged. Still awaiting reordered doors so will likely see them in 4 weeks. For $30,000 get something else. Don't be fooled that they look nice when in fact they are cheap made crap that doesn’t work properly. Not a happy customer and wish I had my old beat up cabinets from before instead.

I have been working at sp for 17 years and highly aprove, as the health care and retirement benefits, go well above.

The cabinets are well built but the staining is very uneven and the very expensive showpiece we had made for the stove vent isn't even the same color stain as the cabinets. I completely understand that wood stain finishes have variability (why I went with stain rather than paint) but I really wish I had gone with a different company. Even KraftMaid delivers a better product. Quality control if extremely poor with this company. Recommend you look elsewhere.

We recently had a tour of the showplace cabinetry factory. Ashleigh, Jeremy, and the rest of the crew gave us an exceptional tour of how they make their cabinets. As an employer showplace really focuses on taking care of their employees. The range of cabinets that they make is impressive. They’re even breaking into outdoor cabinets. Would highly recommend anyone searching for, a remodel to give them a call. They are so nice, I will recommend them to anyone.

I toured Showplace Cabinetry this week and I was extremely impressed with how clean the building was, the machine technology, and the care that all the staff were taking to produce a great product. Very well done!

I had showplace cabinets installed by a home remodeler in Columbus, Oh. After roughly 4 months the clear coat started turning yellow on top of the light grey cabinets. A few years later Showplace decided to replace one door front. Now that the remaining doors have gone bad Showplace has decided not to replace or repair anything else. We spent crazy money on these cabinets only for them to look terrible. I have gotten estimates to have them painted and even the painters have told me that Showplace should have repaired this issue.

Horrible atmosphere, employees are not cared about.

Hands down the worst cabinet company I have ever worked with. If there was a zero star option, that is what I would have selected. This company cares very little when it comes to quality. There is no way that any of the cabinets, in finished form ready to be shipped, are checked by Quality Control. We are now on our 5th round of warped doors / defected doors which is preventing us from collecting final payment on a project. It is now July 31st of 2023, the first correction was back on December 5th 2022. Very displeased and if any of my clients want us to install these cabinets, I will certainly urge them not to.

Our cabinets looked great....until the fronts stated chipping, pealing and blistering. Showplace claimed it was water damage but the damaged cabinets were nowhere near water. And our dealer agreed the product was defective. After a year -- yes, a year -- of back and forth Showplace agreed to replace ALMOST all of the damaged fronts. Their so-called lifetime warranty is a joke. Surely there are better, more reliable products around.

Responding to the owner: In fact you did not replace all of the damaged pieces, namely the trash door. I haven't raised that with anyone because we are tired of dealing with you and the dealer.
