We are in town for a vacation of hitting the National Parks. Decided to give this place a try. Glad we did, food was good. I had the broasted chicken and even though I ordered the 4 piece my friends had their forks in my plate. Now, coming from a big family they are lucky they lived to talk about it! Service was good and we all had a good time. Full bar! Don't pass it up, enjoy!

We were staying down the road and stopped in for a bite. Very friendly staff, great beer on tap, and good food!We took our own gluten free bread and got burgers for gluten free meal. Also got the grilled chicken with cheese and mushrooms with a baked potato for another gluten free meal. Very good! I loved The peach beer!They have nightly specials. We were visiting from out of state, and stopped in to try this place. We weren't expecting much based on it's location. We loved it. We had the chicken fried steak, a small wedge salad, mashed potatoes, and steak and veggie soup. Everything tasted like it was prepared fresh. Chicken Fried Steak was hand breaded. Ranch Dressing tasted fresh made. Soup was excellent. If your are looking for a spot, you should try here.Staff was friendly and helpful. Whole experience was very enjoyable and we would highly recommend. I can't understand the few negative reviews. everything was perfect.

Atmosphere is great. Clean inside. Staff were all nice. Nice menu selection at good prices. My only complaint was I had the prime rib and I even told the waitress I must of got the worst piece they have (deer in head light look). It was so tough and completely full of fat. I seen others that had it and it looked so awesome. Mine was not worth $12 let alone the $28 I paid for it. Other than that I recommend eating here.

We were visiting from out of state, one of the best burgers I've had ,juicy and full of flavor, bartender/ waitress was very nice and attentive,if I ever go back there this will be my dinner spot!!

While the service was a littleeee slow and we waited a good 45 minutes for our food, it was very much worth the wait. I ordered steak tips and tater tots and they both came out perfect. The steak tips were super flavorful and my tater tots were cooked just right. My mom's tater tot's were slightly over cooked. Lily ordered a fresh burger that was delightful. She also got the home style fries and they were wonderfully seasoned and flavorful. Overall highly recommend!!

We camped in the campground behind the lLazy R in Hermosa SD, We toured all through Keystone and Mount Rushmore and Custer Park, it was a full day and we were starving. We were “those people” who arrived at 8:20 PM and they closed at nine! I apologize and asked if it was OK if we come in so close to closing or we shd take out. She said no problem, kitchen closes at 9 and was super friendly about it. Our food was made quickly, our server super friendly, our drinks super cheap and we were out of there by 9:05!(we were hungry!!) we both had the Friday night special. Prime rib and fish and chips. The food was pretty reasonably priced and everything was very good. Beers and mixed drinks are also reasonably priced. If you are passing through town I would highly recommend stopping there for a meal. It looks like they had some tasty desserts but we were full and they were ready to end their day!

Our server never checked on us after our dinner was served. Oh dessert was never mentioned. I will never go back and I live very close. Ask for 2 to go boxes. 1 for the edible food another for the dog gristle. Only got 1.
