After leaving Wind Cave we drove into town on our way south. We came in and had a wonderful time with the hosts. We played pool while our food was being cooked. We both got burgers which were excellent. A very local place and very glad we stopped in as the staff was super friendly.
Very rustic mountain town vibe and experience. We were wondering what this was going to be like and then were WOWED with the food. Super good, good portions! Would definitely recommend.
Great local place. THE BEST Truffle Fries I ever had. If you see Vern Mac n Cheese on the menu, that’s from me! I custom requested the Mac n cheese with fried onions and add the Street Corn instead of the Chislic (I don’t eat meat) and it was AMAZING! Hope they add it to the menu.
Our server was friendly and very attentive. Bought the 309 sauce to bring back home to Connecticut.
