This place is definitely up-and-coming. Great location at Maverick Junction just outside of Hot Springs, South Dakota. They have a beautiful dining room and an amazing bar - very authentic, fun western theme vibes. Outstanding service from start to finish - from the greeting at the beginning to the waitresses and the folks at the bar. Arrived at 7:30 (they close at 8:30), I ordered the rib eye ($38), 12 oz. They were out of baked potatoes so I got mashed🙁 My husband ordered the 16 oz prime rib special which came with the salad bar, roasted veggies, onion rings and toast. The rib eye was excellent- perfectly cooked and seasoned. Mashed potatoes okay. Prime rib was so-so. It did not appear to be a 16oz cut and the flavor was bland as was the au ju.
