The food was delicious and we bought some Yak to take home. They were super busy when we went, which was fine. The biggest turnoff was what appeared to be a manager or maybe owner yelling at staff in front of customers. There were some mistakes and our order got lost but even with that I felt like it was uncalled for and super uncomfortable as a customer to listen as she chewed the staff up one side and down the other. Totally uncalled for in front of your customers! Then to make excuses and say well the manager was frustrated..... yes we all get frustrated but learn to control your anger and frustration.
I felt so bad for the girl at the cashier's desk and the other staff. She looked like she was about in tears. I let her know she was doing a good job and to keep at it and keep trying. Maybe more training is needed. Maybe pull her aside and talk to her away from customers. What makes me so angry about the whole situation is that it was done in front of your customers. It shows poor management and leadership skills. There are a lot of things that could have been done that wasn't. I think the manager has some issues no one deserves to be treated like that. Hope this doesn't happen on the daily!

Best place to stop in Hot Springs. Definitely a must, and one of the reasons we will be coming back. The food is fresh and delicious. The Parmesan garlic fries are worth upgrading to

Great food and service! Granddaughter is very particular about her food… she said “gramma… this is amazing… exactly the way I asked for it to be done! Sure with we had them in Rapid City”

Really, what's all the hype? Close to 35 bucks for two burgers fries and two bottles of water. The lady that took our order was condescending and mildly rude. We got small portions of mediocre food that did not justify the price. On top of the price paid they have the Audacity To ration out Ketchup In half filled specimen cups. place was rather warm inside and the flies were horrible.

Ate here on our way through from Nebraska to Wind Cave. Service was quick and the food was good. Highly recommend.

Lovely local restaurant with amazing ice cream choices and delicious fries.

What a gem. We came for the Mammoth Site and needed lunch. It was such a great choice. Farm to table food. We had the bison burgers and fries and my husband had the Elvis milk shake and I had the buttered popcorn ice cream. So good. The wait was worth it.

Stumbled across this on a cross country drive. Was the perfect stop for good food and ice cream.

Locally praised and absolutely farm fresh items on the menu. Absolutely stop and enjoy this mostly known for its taste spot in Hot Springs!

Very disappointed got the bison burger said fresh fram to table. Meat was old taste bad couldn't eat it. $48 for 2 people went in the trash. They should know if there meat is old.

Came to this place on our way back home to Colorado from spearfish. This was the best meal we have had the whole trip!! The BLT was amazing and the garlic Parmesan fries are the best I’ve ever had. If and when we are in town again we will definitely be stopping by again. Staff was very friendly and the place was hopping super busy.
