Not a good morning. Went to Plains for breakfast and we did not get our food for over almost an hour and a half. They were not busy. Only one other group with 2 people who had not gotten their food. We ordered a chopped steak medium with 2 eggs, and the steak was burnt crisp on both sides. My sausage had either been fried before, or was old. We first talked to the gentleman running the till to no avail. Waitress was exceptionally good, however she had no authority to help us. Finally we talked to manager and asked if we could have a discount but she said no, but would give us a gift card. Told her I was never coming back, why would I need a gift card? Eat out there at your own risk.

I understand inflation but prices here have increased again, the food is the same, the place is the same, and now the extra if use a cc spelled out in the menu. Ok, bank fees, but to charge an additional $1 at the register! What next a fee to sit down? The greedy wagon is parked there. They lost my business.
Truthfully, I hate dissing places that I’ve ate at for years but the service has gone downhill, the food has, atmosphere in general and it’s been getting ridiculously expensive. sat here for an hour when it wasn’t busy, no drinks were brought out, our order was taken and others complained of cold food and undercooked food such as hash browns n sausage / meats. Waitress’s are snippy and impatient.. horribly impatient. Most people just eat here because there’s no where else on a Saturday or Sunday morning. If I could give it zero stars I would.

My children and I never had our order taken, we were there for more than half an hour while other people who arrived immediately had their order taken and they even offered them the idea that taking that was insulting and racist. I don't recommend it and I never bothered to go.

We had group of 10 people and were seated in backroom. Restaurant was fairly busy on Sunday morning. We waited 1 hr and 25 minutes for our food. We had just stood up and were leaving when waitress brought our food. Food was average at best. Won't ever go there again. Place was dirty too. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
