The best tacos and LOVED the Chickles! We’re going to be craving the tacos for a long time. It’s a must if we ever pass through the area again!
Katie’s Kantina is a must-try when visiting Badlands National Park. She’s got a small food truck where she serves authentic Mexican, but outside and indoor seating is offered behind her truck. She’s one of the nicest people you’ll encounter on your trip to the Badlands and she makes excellent food. My wife and I got the ground beef burritos and they were EXCELLENT! After that, we ate her key lime pie and it tasted sooo good. She uses fresh ingredients for everything she makes and she is by far the superior food option when you visit the Badlands. We went to another restaurant in Innterior before visiting her food truck a couple days before and got food poisoning. She is starkly better in comparison to the restaurants around! You won’t regret it if you go!
My friends and I stopped at Katie’s Kantina on a cross country road trip. I’ve been in the Badlands for 4 days and this is by far the best food I’ve had since arriving! Super great service and delicious tacos!
Cheese crusted tacos are wonderful! Just go...you won't regret it! It's delicious and they are SO friendly!!!
Love the beef tacos and the chickles 🫶🏽
We were initially sceptical of the good reviews and slightly disappointed by the lack of food options here. But Katie's food did not disappoint at all! In fact, it was spectacularly well-made and flavourful and better than most restaurants. We got the seasoned beef tacos and pulled pork burrito. Both were exceptional. Even the sides - rice and beans - were amazing as well. Highly recommended!
Who would of thought that you could find amazing tacos in the tiny town of Interior, SD? These were some of the best tacos we've had, and we have traveled all over the world. Everything was delicious, fresh, and the service was so friendly ! Our favorite was the pulled pork. If you are anywhere near Badlands National Park, you need to stop by the taco truck for a delicious meal!
Great food and exceptional service. Only a short distance from Badlands National Park and much better than the Cedar Pass Lodge Restaurant. Definitely, worth checking out!
The most fresh food I have ever tasted on the road or period. Food was amazing truly best I have had traveled from TX ever.
If you’re ever in the Badlands and looking for a bite to eat, there is a small, charming food truck located in Interior, SD called Katie’s Kantina. This is a taco truck not to be missed! The cook is Katie, and the tacos are crazy good! Katie lives in the Badlands because she loves it. A former teacher, this little gem is the ticket to Katie’s dream of living in an incredibly breathtaking part of the country. Granted, she doesn’t have much competition, but her food can compete with any taco truck ANYWHERE! If you need dessert, there are only two options but you don’t need any more! The key lime pie is delicious and the churros are too!

Delicious food! Best food in Badlands national park. Very close to the Cedar Pass Lodge. We ate here every day on our visit to the park.
Amazing place to go to!After a great day at the Badlands we decided to come here to enjoy some food, and let me tell you, best pork tacos I’ve had in forever actually. 10/10 . Also if you didn’t know this place does indeed take card.
Definitely 5 star deliciousness.
If you are in Badlands national park you should definitely check at here.
We tried tacos, burrito, quesadillas, grilled cheese pickles and iced coffee. Everything was a 5-star.
Pulled pork tacos were absolutely the most delicious tacos I have ever experienced. Key lime pie to top off the meal, superb!
I’m 75 years old and have eaten tacos in Europe, South America, and here in the US. Katie’s pulled pork tacos are the best I’ve ever had. You should eat here.
