The server we had was very friendly. The food was so-so. The place was clean.

Food was terrible. Burned dry tasteless burgers. Only thing that was worth eating was the duck wing appetizer. Expensive considering it was so bad.

Came here after reading reviews online and would have to say wish we would have stopped somewhere else. Staff was friendly but service was extremely slow for the restaurant only having one other table that already had there food.
We got mozzarella sticks and onion rings, mozzarella sticks would good nothing special, onion rings were gross tasted like they were reheated in microwave.
Once we tried ordering our meals they were out of several things no french fries, no Mac and cheese crazy for a family friendly restaurant to be out. Burgers were nothing special, buns were hard and dried out....

Came in here July 3rd, it was hot out. We just wanted an app and some cold lemonades. The mozzarella sticks were awesome! Top 20 of all time! Thank you! Service was quick and she was friendly!

I didn’t eat here because by the time I got there I had eaten in Hill City already but I went inside to cool off and recharge for my last 20 miles to Rapid City. Super friendly, charming old world feel, very nice bartender and the locals that were seated at the bar all wanted to chat. I loved it.

That's gotta be one the BEST burgers I've had in a LONG time, no joke!
The man on the grill cooked it perfect.
Service was exceptional.
Nice and cool inside.
Highly recommend.
The food was great I had the club sandwich and it was filled high. I think my wife had a burger. There was a lot of food and neither of us could finish. The waitress was che king on us regularly and made sure we always had our drinks topped off and anything else we needed. Polite and friendly is an understatement. Im from Tennessee and these people put southern friendlyness to shame. We felt like we were old friends visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere is casual and feels like an old cabin.

I’m absolutely appalled by the service we received. We came in as a group of nine to what’s advertised as a family restaurant, yet the lady with short hair made it very clear she did not want to seat us. Her attitude was dismissive, cold, and completely unprofessional. She made no effort to accommodate us and clearly didn’t want to go through the “trouble” of cleaning or arranging tables—even though it’s literally part of her job.
The laziness and unwillingness to provide basic hospitality was shocking. It’s incredibly disappointing to see such poor treatment, especially when you expect warmth and service from a family-oriented establishment. If this is how you treat larger groups, you should rethink calling yourself a family restaurant. We won’t be returning.

Very small menu, they only had 1 choice for beer, the food was ok but way over priced.
