The Front Porch Restaurant and Bar

I had wanted to order lunch and was told it would be 15 minutes since they were finishing up breakfast. Ok. I ordered the Dakota special with French toast. My eggs were over medium well and was supposed to be over easy. The French toast was cold. Bacon was decent. I had ordered an iced tea but sent it back because it had Soo much lemon in it I couldn't drink it. Wasn't even told there was lemon in it. Not good for people with citrus allergies. The waitress was only at the table to take the order and drop off a coffee after I flagged her down to switch the tea. Never came to check on us or see if we needed refills. Would have understood if they were busy but, 2 tables doesn't constitute table neglect. We will not return.
My son's steak turned out being well done instead of medium. My DIL would have liked her eggs to be done right too.

Very bland tasting food with a boring atmosphere. The smell of bleach and wet rags definitely doesn’t help.

The place smelled of really strong bleach. We got there at 10:50 . They gave us the lunch menu, so we looked through it. Then the Waitress came back and gave us a breakfast menu and said they dont serve lunch until 11. My MIL asked if she could just order off the lunch menu because at this point, it was 10:55. The waitress told her it would be a 30 min wait. Fine but a little annoying. The Waitress didn't even give us a whole min to look at the menu before asking us what we wanted to eat. Then, she rolled her eyes because we hesitated. When we got our meals, the eggs were cooked incorrectly, and some of the food was cold. Overall, Waitress was kinda rude and only came to our table to take the order and bring the food. Every question we asked seemed like it was the biggest inconvenience to her(there was only one other table, so it wasn't like they were busy), and the food wasn't worth the price. I don't recommend it.

The food was absolutely fantastic and Carla was so wonderful in taking perfect care of us. Definitely recommend this place to anyone in the Keystone area!!

Carla was our server tonight. She was the friendliest one we have had since being in Keystone for a few days!! The food was great tasting. The serving sizes were huge.
