Kind of hard to rate this place when they aren’t even open during listed online hours. And stopped at their location and it was closed during listed hours yet has no hours listed at their location. Really bummed was looking forward to their Buffalo burger. Maybe someone could shed some light on their hours? Even says where locals go to eat yet closed on a Friday @ 6pm

This was a great find! My husband had the hot shot burger and fries and I had the crispy chicken sandwich and they were great. Will come again if we have time.
Hidden gem in the Mt Rushmore area! The place is a small and very unpretentious place but food and service are outstanding. One of the best burgers and wings we've ever had, very yummy beer and friendly staff. The came for a late lunch and learned that they close early (which is it's only drawback) as we hoped to come back later at night. Highly recommend.

Not only was the service beyond friendly, but the atmosphere was very inviting. I don’t eat my food at the restaurants very often, preferring to take out, but eating here was a positive experience!
Now the food….your expectations will be far surpassed!! I tried the bison burger, fries, and bone in wings tossed in the Asian Zing sauce. All 3 items were MOUTHWATERING. The bison burger is #1 hands down in all of South Dakota, the fries are fresh and fried to perfection, and the wings had the BEST breading I’ve ever tasted on a wing before. Not only that, but the wings were very juicy, tossed with the perfect amount of sauce, and the Asian Zing had the perfect amount of spice.
How could I forget, the pickles! I’m not sure how this place could get any better, but I promise you that you won’t regret it asking for extra pickles on your burger! Crunchiest pickles I’ve ever had.
I’m not from around the area, but I had to go back a second time before leaving it was that amazing of an experience. I hope to come back soon!
Halleys West is a simple spot, but it definitely stands out for its spectacular service. The young man with long hair was incredibly kind and attentive, making our visit truly enjoyable. The food was good, and the overall experience was satisfying. Highly recommended if you're looking for a place with great service and a warm atmosphere!
