Don't be fooled by the outside. The entrance is at the back of the gas station near the restrooms.
Came here on way to Sturgis Rally, and on way back home to Wisconsin.
Great little bar, good BBQ, Burgers or Fish. Came 2x for breakfast excellent. Self serve coffee so you don't have to wait.
Staff and owner very attentive & friendly. Definitely worth the pit stop. Little Town of Kimball, SD but full bar & good hot food!

You will be Permanently STUCK in the MUD, in Ditty's Lousy Muddy Parking Lot.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
The Town's Folk told us that they know people get stuck, but nobody even cares enough to put up a Warning Sign.
Shame on the Owner of Ditty's.
He KNOWS that people get stuck in the MUD, but he never bothered putting up a

On our family road trip from the East Coast to Mt. Rushmore we came upon Ditty’s and decided it seemed like a good point to stop and grab lunch. Inside a gas station and tucked away in a back corner, it didn’t look like much. About 8-9 tables, half of which are booths, and about as many stools at a bar. I wasn’t expecting much, but we all ordered burgers (two adult burgers and one kid’s), and got some fries, as well. Everything was excellent! Large, juicy burgers, fresh toppings, crispy hot fries! A great spot for lunch, definitely recommend!

Had stopped here on other road trips, for gas and snacks. Fun little convenience store. Decided to have breakfast inside the cute little old diner portion in the back of the store. Waitress was real nice. Coffee was from a pump that the waitress used to pump into the cup. $2.50 a cup. Wasn’t the worst or the best I’ve had. By the time the add ons were added to the biscuits and gravy it got a little pricey. $21.00 for one plate. Biscuits were a little too soft, gravy was ok. Bacon was crispy and very good. Eggs were cooked good. Waitress was very nice and had very good service.

When I’m on the road transport pets it’s so hard to find good food! Being that my first stop was South Dakota I wasn’t really planning on stopping but BAYBBEEEE IM so glad I did!!!
.
I honestly tore my food up so I don’t have any pictures and wasn’t planning to write a review. It be a shame not to!

I got a classic cheeseburger deluxe and lemme tell you the burgers are hand patted burgers, seasoned well and fullfilling! I got the side of beans (done on the grill) and coleslaw. I told myself I’d eat half and save the other and nope it’s gone!

Also Ben, Anita, the lady who served my dinner (didn’t catch her name) and a gentleman that seemed to be in break were all so kind and helpful! Truly Customer service and felt like I was home away from home!

Thanks Guys!!! If you are considering anything else Think again and come eat at Ditty’s!!!

A 1923 Ford Model T sits in the ceiling and the bartender can tell the story of how it ended up there. The restaurant sits in the back of the convenience store, but the aura is so different that you forget you’re in a gas station once you’re seated. Service is polite and prompt, and the food is pretty good - particularly the potato salad. The prices can add up very quickly however as the menu price only rejects the sandwich. Once you tack on a side and a drink, you’re looking at $20+ per person.
