The Smoking Mule was a great location for our company dinner. Erica was so helpful with the planning. Service from the whole staff was outstanding!!

Waited over an hour for my food. Lady completely ignored the tables and only paid attention to the people at the bar. Had to wait 20 min for her to even take my order then an hour for food then another 20min for her to drop off the check. The food was really good way over what I expected but almost 2hrs for food not worth it.

Fun place to stop and eat. You can watch birds land at the inlet as you eat. Great service. Had brisket sandwich and pulled pork. The meat tasted warmed up which surprised me because it was early Friday evening. Would love to try it fresh.

Great place! Was a tad under staffed, but this is post Covid America so nobody apparently works anymore. Waitresses kept apologizing for how long it was taking. Pheasant season is in, so it was packed! We didn't mind, and totally understood. BBQ was great as well as the kicking beans! They also have a gift shop and bar attached. Price was great!!! Super affordable

We had a very good early dinner here. The fried pickle fries were delicious! The baked beans were very good as well as the brisket sandwich and the brisket burger. The service was good and she was friendly. The price was reasonable. We would eat here again.

Wasn't busy at all yet poor service. Waitress brought the food n never did see her again.Potatoe salad was GROSS,potatoes still hard. If u like vinegar than baked beans were good. Meats were good cause smoked.Nice view.

Quaint restaurant with Deeeeeelicious food and terrific service. The atmosphere was perfect. Just the kind of restaurant I love. You can't get much better than the Smoking Mule.Parking: Easy entrance. Spacious enough to accommodate wheelchairs.
Food was good, not expensive, nice wait staff. We came in late on Sunday evening and met with a smile.

The atmosphere is sort of family diner like but pleasant. Most seating is booths which what we like. Our meal was excellent. We split a 10 oz ribeye which came with mushrooms and onions and was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The beans are clearly their own—flavorful and interesting. Unpretentious place with great value for excellent food.

This place is AWESOME! You will not be disappointed. It was packed when we arrived. They had already sold out of ribs. It was worth the wait and the food we had was outstanding.

First of all, let’s be honest: this is not ‘dinner at a marina’. It’s a backwater slough with pontoon boat storage. The restaurant has only one table with a ‘view’ of the “marina”. The Smoking Mule is more bar than restaurant. But - the food is good. Very good. The kickass beans are plentiful in variety and flavorful. My brisket sandwich was tender and delicious. My husband had the half chicken and said it was excellent. We enjoyed the stout immensely (Mt Rushmore Brewing Company). The service was excellent as well.

Nice place at the marina. Typical American fare
