Decent little bar... little expensive but not bad for a small town bar.

When it was known as Wild Oats, it was a delicious place with a great menu. Now that it’s reverted back to RBar and been in the hands of not one but two owners in less than 3 yrs time, it’s rapidly declining. The flat top in the kitchen is being held down by a dirty brick from outside that still has grass & dirt on it—literally watched the cook/manager? pull it in from outside behind the bar & put it in the kitchen. Who knows the last time the grills/fryer/flat top was cleaned?! The soda guns in the bar area are slimy with mildew & mold buildup. The floors are disgusting and constantly have food all over them. It’s not uncommon to wait 15-20min before being greeted let alone getting drink & food. Every time I’ve ordered a steak in the last year (with hopes that it’ll be better than last), it tastes rotten. It’s a shame that the area’s only steakhouse is so inconsistent. It has potential to be awesome but it isn’t. You’ll walk away, disappointed at the wasted money knowing you could have make a better meal if you cooked it for yourself.

While passing through town, this was our third stop after finding every restaurant closed. We waited at the door for a while and no one came to seat us. Then a local came in and a lady appeared and greeted us him by name and ignoring us. The local went around us and sat to the bar. The lady then told us we could sit wherever we wanted. We got bad vibes about the place when the lady never came back. We finally walked out. They definitely cater to the locals and not people passing through. I don’t recommend the place. The Powerhorn is a much better place and treated us like they were happy we were there.

The steak tips tasted like liver and they were terrible. The mac and cheese wasn't even microwaved properly and half of them were hot and half were cold. The chicken strips were good but have had better at culvers. The service was pretty good and the only saving grace.

We were there 2 nights in a row and was extremely busy. The staff did a great job of just checking in and food was outstanding as usual!
