I was planning on fasting all 3 days of my trip to bring my truck back from Seattle to Illinois but said if they had Rocky Mountain Oysters at my last stop I would break it ar 46 hours.... Jake's was about 30 mins from Mitchell, SD where I was staying so 2 day fast it is lol.
Very small town and very local bar with great locals sitting and chatting. Had a nice conversation about the trip and the oysters.
I got an order of Mountain Oysters and Chislic. Both were excellent and the oysters were the best I have had. Went perfect with the beer I had, a Michelob Amberbock....who knew it was even around anymore?!
Absolutely would stop here again for the Mountain Oysters alone!

Nice local pub/bar and restaurant. Nice people and the broasted chicken was amazing. It was a low oil version of fried chicken, super juicy and delicious.
A farmers bar with the best fried chicken I've ever had. I ate here 3 times in the past week. Lol!!! Kim and Pat are 2 nice people with good spirits and they will treat you right.

Have to order the Rocky Mountain Oysters. Even the kids liked them. Burgers were fresh and seasoned well. Good fries. Philly steak was great. Service was very friendly. Definitely a place to stop and will be back.
