We Skipped our hotel breakfast specifically so we could eat here. Google said they are open, but they are not. Our family is pretty disappointed and hungry. This business needs to update their hours on Google.
Stood for 15 minutes ringing the bell to order and no one showed up to take our order. At one point we could hear talking in the prep area then nothing. Left without eating.
Tried the pulled pork sandwich for lunch. Very good.
The male staff member was incredibly rude the second we came in. The lady was nice enough.
Food was not good. Pulled pork tasted like salt and nothing else.
Kinda gave the vibe that they are used to only regulars and have never met a tourist in their life. Which was strange given it's part of a tourist attraction.
Good food and a cool setting.

Great place to stop - everyone was super friendly and the soup was amazing! They let us order soup and chili right before close, and thank goodness! The food was SO GOOD, and the train cars were super pretty and cool. I definitely recommend going here :) Just keep in mind that they close before dinner :)

We stopped here by chance, visited the old town and then had a bite to eat on the train! The chili was fantastic, we ate two dishes! The staff very welcoming!

Just ate here. Food was good, well priced, and friendly person behind the counter. Once you order your food, you go sit and eat in the train area. Really cool experience.

Great breakfast just off of I-90! The Hash Brown Bake tastes better than Cracker Barrel, and their bacon is cooked perfectly. If you need a good chocolate fix then the chocolate pie is definitely the way to go! Don't forget to check out the rest of the town while you're there too, they sell sasparilla and other drinks in the saloon. They even offer costume rentals for $10 an adult and $7 a kid, and you get to take pictures all over the town!

Super place to stop for breakfast or lunch! We pulled over just to stretch our legs at 1880 Town and found this jewel of a diner right in the parking lot. Super people, great food! Highly recommend!

Santa Fe Train Diner is a fun, nostalgic, and romantic place to have lunch. The menu is simple and kind of high priced but the vibe makes up for it. The only other criticism I would have is the seating is not good for big people like me. I fit but barely.I'd say if you are at 1880 Town stop by for a snack or a cold drink just for the ambiance.
