Good view and atmosphere and seating. Waitress was relatively helpful. Website menu prices aren't updated, said my drink was $5 and it was $7.50ish and they didn't have a drink menu so there was that. I assume this will be updated so still deserves 4 stars because it's a great spot. Also, went doing happy hour on a Thursday and paid full price for beers so make sure to check with the wait staff to see what is included in happy hour. Overall food is always good and it's an excellent spot on the lake. Would recommend.

My husband and I just relocated to the area from NC for work. After a long journey, we wanted nothing more than to crash, but had noticed Wakeside on the way to our rental. We decided to go out and I'm so glad we did, from the moment we walked in, everything was amazing and honestly just what I needed, the staff was so kind and welcoming and very prompt. They had march madness going on all the tvs, the food was sooooo good, we even got takeout to enjoy more later. Our server (I feel so bad I don't remember her name, she was young with long blonde hair, it was the past Saturday) she was absolutely amazing, very attentive, helped me pick the perfect dish - the pub dip 😋
We loved everything and will definitely be back!

The wait can sometimes be a bit long but the staff are always fantastic. They are definitely the heart and soul of the lakeside.
Just alright... You pay $4 and five star prices but give one and two star quality food. Service isn't very great waitresses can't ever get your order right? They're not attentive. It's a neat little place. Great atmosphere. Awesome food options but food isn't worth a four-star and five-star restaurant price

One word! Outstanding!! Have eaten there twice as out of towners. Great food, great atmosphere & especially great service! Our server Karlie was incredible. She was smart, engaging & quick to address requests. She deserves praise and a raise! Highly recommend this establishment for its excellent menu options, tasty dishes, fair prices and stellar service! Bravo to the owners for providing excellent training and a quality product!

We waited for 2 hours to get the food we ordered. People that arrived after us received their food before us. We asked a few times where our food was and the only response was that it was still being made. Afterwards there was no attempt to make things right by potentially offering a discount or offering a free drink or someone coming to the table and giving a sincere apology.
