I thought this place was great! The girls got me sat down right away I arrived shortly after 5 p.m. NOTE they open at five. I had the 6 oz tenderloin and vegetables. The meat was perfectly cooked and the food presentation was on point. I will say for one of the one star ratings I read if you’re going for a Hawaiian burger go to a burger joint. This place has the look and feel of central plains good eats western steak houses. If you’re looking for fine steak cuisine atmosphere go to Ruth Criss or Capital Grille. This is Mitchell Local with professional friendly service. If I pass through here again it will be first choice for myself and clients wanting to just unwind and enjoy a good dinner. Kudos to ALL the service there.

Was passing through. Food was fast hot and fresh. Ordered cube steak. It was covered with caramelized onions and steak potatoes seasoned perfectly. Portion was big, second half was road snack next day and was still quite tasty.

We stopped by in early Dec 2025, because we had loved the Pierre location. The Mitchell location needs to close down!! What a disgrace!! Waited over an hour for our food, worst steak ever!! We ordered Med Well Done and got RAW in the middle!! Crackers were old & stale. The worst part was the so-called Mgr Austin. He is the most arrogant, immature, selfish person I ever met! Was a smartass & told us we had to pay even if we didn't eat our food or he'd call the cops! Who is this child of a Mgr??? Later found his mommy owns both steakhouses so it makes sense now. Austin- McDonalds cooks a better burger than you! Grow up & be an adult & stop hanging on mommy's purse-strings. WORST FOOD & MGR EVER-DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

This was a horrible experience. We waited for over an hour for our food. We were told our food was being platted and still waited 20 minutes before the food came out cold. There were people that were seated after us and got their food before us. We had a small child with us and they ran our milk, chocolate milk and juice. There were multiple staff members available so I don’t think staffing was an issue. We were not checked on once to see if we needed refills. I understand things happen but this was a lot. There was another table that left because their wait was taking too long as well. I hope the service gets better at this establishment because it has potential to be decent. I recommend the manager work on his customer service and work on making things better for his customers when things are not going go how they should. Our waitress was very sweet and we don’t blame her for what happened with the wait time on the food. There is room for improvement at this place.
