Michelle’s Mad Batter has a fantastic selection of savory and sweet options (particular with their Sunday brunch), and some fantastic beverages… from kombucha to fresh squeezed juice, to properly made coffee drinks! This is one of the few places around that does a cappuccino for my wife that isn’t more like a latte. They also make great foam with oat milk for her, which is much appreciated.

Today I had the biscuits and gravy. There was plenty of tasty sausage in the gravy, and the biscuits were crispy on the outside and inside were light and fluffy, with excellent flavor. I also added and over medium egg today. My wife had the peach waffle which was also light and airy, served with plenty of not-overly-sweet whipped cream and fresh, ripe peach slices.

Darci took great care of us for our order (as usual), and Jay was eager to help at the table. There’s nothing like going to a place like this for top notch food, and getting the personal service of some great people. Stop in and give them (and your taste buds) some love!

Absolutely love this gem in Mitchell! From their fantastic pizza nights (their pizza is better than what I ate in Italy), to their phenomenal biscuits and gravy, açaí bowls, delicious desserts and marvelous matcha lattes, Michelle’s Mad Batter is an absolute jewel in the community. My British mom and I love coming to this wonderful place and enjoying the delectable delights.

Passing through town and had a truly yummy Crème Brûlée here. Not fussy, just elegant and well-prepared. It was a real treat!

This place is Ah-mazing. We had some car trouble which has us stranded in Mitchell. While trying to figure it out, we stopped in for breakfast and coffee. Both were great! Try the cinnamon rolls. They are big! You might want to split it. Not only did we enjoy a great breakfast and cup of coffee, the gentleman working at the store gave us several recommendations for local places to find a new rim. What great service! When we come back we will be bringing friends 🧡

OMGosh what a perfect treasure to find Michelle’s after a 4,000 mile plus journey to and from west coast. Excellent tasting coffee, homemade cinnamon rolls, scones etc.

I went there when they first opened and had a wonderful dessert. I go there for; My Coffee and I still stick to Cornerstone. Those are my go to places. Even; when Cornerstone closes I'm still going to Michelle's. Because I have my particular reasons. And I used to Work for Corner Stone. Michelle's is Friendly!

To my taste, they have the absolute best gluten free bread I have had, crunchy crust when toasted and yet soft in the middle. Doesn’t t flake and fall apart like most gluten free bread. I’ll be back.
