Was told the restaurant would be open and serving food until 9pm. Our group of 6 swung up to the Windjammer promptly at 8:15pm after the weigh-ins finished up for the Ice Tournament.Waitress took our food and beverage order by 8:30 and thought all was well.....little did we know that our food wouldn't arrive to our table until 11:30, a mere 3 hours after we arrived and placed our order! Not only did our food arrive late but we also were only served our original beverage that was brought to our table when we first arrived.There was maybe 20 people in total at the restaurant all experiencing the same service while the waitress sat behind the bar complaining the whole time while everyone at the tables sat and patiently waited.This used to be our favorite place to go when we came to town to fish but it has been fast-tracked to the least favorite place. It is hard to see such slow service and weird hours during the busiest weekend in Mobridge, the ice fishing tournament when there are over 1,200 eager anglers waiting for drinks and hot food when they get off the ice!This will be our last time visiting this establishment as it was embarrassing to see what transpired. I suggest putting in your food order for next year's tournament now if you plan on eating it at a decent time.Lastly, I would like to think I am a very patient person but this was even too much for an easy going guy like myself.You can do better Windjammer!

Thousands of people in town for the ice fishing tournament and they close early. I would avoid until someone that understands food service takes this over, unless you enjoy not getting drinks and waiting 2 hours for food. In that case, this place is for you!

Unbelievably slow service, understaffed and pretty sure we ate the last of the food in the freezer before they close the restaurant permanently. The new ownership is underwhelming. Unfortunate- so much potential. If you want to eat in Mobridge after 8, better pre order at Burger King. That’s not a joke.

Saw recommendations so decided to try. Don't bother. When we arrived we were trying to figure out where the restaurant was in the hotel. Finally my husband was able to get an answer. The woman pointed to a set of winding stairs and said up those. Now my husband and I are in our 70's and she must have known we couldn't do those stairs. There were 2 gentlement heard what happened and saw me at least attempt and came over told us where regular stairs are. Once upstairs were told to sit wherever. The young waiter came over and thanked us for coming and asked what we wanted to drink, handed us menus that were sticky said he would find out what the specials were and return. He rattled off a bunch of specials, couldn't understand him so decided on chicken fingers plate with 1 side. My side was steak fries, my husband was tater tots. I told my hubb I had had better fingers from frozen at home, same with fries. We had ordered onion rings that never came because they forgot to put in the order. When we finished and got our bill, our meals had 2 different prices! We asked and they said tater tots were more than the fries. Husband said look at the menu, it says the plate comes with 1 side and no where does it say those tater tots cost more. They still said they are more, hubby wasn't going to pay extra, so waiter went to the manager, who just happened to be the person that told us to go up the winding staircase! She made a change to the bill. It was only $1.60, but it was the point. The place wasn't at all what we expected, there were several TV's going all with different channels and sound up. Not my idea of a great place to eat.

I had a great time, Margarita was ? good, I ordered steamed veggies, mashed potatoes with the fried breaded steak I'm pretty sure I'm saying that wrong, but it was delicious, A1 with that and my world was great after not eating all day. Was satisfied with everything. My girl and I played some darts while we waited, great atmosphere up there!

The waitress was very rude. They were not busy but we waited over 90 minutes for old gross food. The manager was rude and not helpful. I would not recommend this place.
The food sucked and so did the service! Small portions and overcooked food. Went to burger King after overpaying for a meal.

Food came out cold after taking a pretty good amount of time. The place wasn't very busy either. I have been here several times over the past 5 years or so, and everytime something has been off about each visit. It is honestly unfortunate because it has a good location and unique layout.
