“Taphouse 22 is a warming and amazing place that makes you feel like your one of the locals and right at home. Awesome selection of brews that are always changing and I would recommend this establishment to anyone local or just someone passing thru.“

“I would never leave a bad review and lower a rating but … Hi 👋🏼 were simon and sarah from south wales UK Flew into Chicago for the summerfest killers concert with plans on driving through as many states and seeing all we could in 7 days We stumbled upon Murdo during our radio trip to paisley park “ princes house “ from Mount Rushmore Stayed at the american inn ( absolutely fabulous stay the owner was incredibly helpful, hotel spotless, comfortable and would highly recommend!! We learnt that there isn’t much in murdo and with only one road to visit we chose the Buffalo restaurant and lodge (only place open ) On arrival as two adults looking for drinks and some snacky food ( after a six hour drive and food on the way ) we was met by a bar tender who told us food could only be purchased in the restaurant… drinks ordered was made reluctantly and slammed on the bar We didn’t want a full meal … saw there was a pool table in the bar and wanted to play , we asked for a bowl of fries and two double whiskey’s the very quiet bartender told us NO FOOD ONLY IN THE RESTAURANT The place was empty !! The chef came out questioned our accents and became very friendly said yes food can be eaten by the bar while purchasing drinks !! Fries ordered, few games of pool played and copious amounts of whiskey bought A few locals ( x5 people ) came in we had great conversations and learnt lots about the little place we chose to stay at We enjoyed our visit with you because we was on vacation , the chef and locals made up for the obvious tension from your bar tender even though we offered him drinks and food We was there 30th june 2025 We plan on doing the same road trip again and regardless of our last experience we will definitely return to this bar no bad reviews just honest feedback from genuine people Merry Christmas to you all at buffalo restaurant & lounge Sarah & simon“
