We ate there last Sept. It was the best hamburger we have had. This is definitely a place you want to eat at on your way to the Black Hills. The staff were wonderful, too. .

Aww man! This is the trip that keeps surprising me. Seeking out all the small town food joints are an epic adventure in itself. Been ages since I worked in Murdo, SD. Today stopped by for a late lunch on my way home from Wyoming. Home ground beef does not get any better than this! I might even have to grab a burger for supper tonight when I get back to MN. Thank you for lunch Circle E Drive-In ! Staff was friendly and the food was awesome!!
We stopped here for a quick bite to eat on vacation & I cannot recommend this place enough! The owners are amazing and so friendly, the story behind the drive in is very touching and the food is the BEST! Everything was made fresh! I highly recommend stopping and supporting this amazing family friendly drive in - you won’t be disappointed! ♥️ The Big Al burger is top notch & the ice cream is always a great option!
We stopped by Circle E Drive-In on our way to the Black Hills for a family get together. Everything we had was such great quality and flavor! I enjoyed the Big Al burger, and had a butterscotch malt that was awesome! Their customer service is second to none, the owner even stopped by to chat with us. You don’t find many small town gems like this very often!
Loved everything about this place! Fresh local beef burgers and multiple delicious soft serve ice cream options. Family friendly and clean.
Pleasant service, good food. I had the Double Bacon Cheeseburger, Onion Rings, and a Turtle Cyclone. Really good stuff!

Drove to this restaurant based on reviews after visiting the 1880 Town just up the road a few miles. Did not disappoint, great size and flavour of homemade burger patties, shoestring fries and good drink options. Keep in mind this is a smaller town off the I-90 however this restaurant is destined for bigger populations. Bravo and thank you for a delicious lunch.
Dietary restrictions: Peanut Allergy and although they have peanuts (ice cream and toppings) they were careful to not cross contaminate specifically for our order.
Easy parking at side of restaurant.

I’m not a burger person so I didn’t get one. The burger was hug and I can see it was juicy with fresh ingredients. Hubby said it was good. He would definitely eat here again. My 12 year old actually finished her 1/3-1/2 lb cheese burger. Bathroom was clean. I did notice their shake was in a 12 oz plastic clear cup which is usually for me. Not sure why the Banana split is at $15 and 1/3-1/2 lb burger was at $9-10? Tiny town.

The sign says "voted best burgers in South Dakota" it's definitely not lying. This may have been one of the best burgers I've had in a really long time. The place is small and very busy but the food was served with a smile.

We gave it a try, after finding a previous suggestion from the book Road Food for its predicessor. So glad we did. Our burgers and broasted potatoes were amazing.
Best cheeseburger in SD, as they claim? Very possible. Thick, hand-pattied burger w a fresh beefsteak tomato. GF buns available. Good shakes. The owner was sincerely attentive and warm to every table. It’s clearly a local favorite. If I ever drive through SD again, I’ll plan another stop here.
